Wyclef Jean has posed for plenty of respectable photographs while visiting the children of earthquake-devastated Haiti with former President Bill Clinton, and campaigning for the presidency of the country back in 2010. But for some reasons know to him alone, the former Fugees singer chose to share a very different pic of himself, with the world on Wednesday as he celebrated his 43rd birthday. Sure this snap is surely gonna surprise a lot of people who see it, it shows Jean wearing only a barely-there pair of red-and-blue undies, appearing to be doused in sweat or perhaps baby oil, and — to top it all off — straddling a Ducati motorcycle that matches his briefs. "TODAY I AM 43 YEARS OLD!" he wrote alongside the photo posted on Twitter. "I look And feel 26! U cant keep a good Man down! Keep a smile when they want you to frown!"

Farmer named world's oldest NEW DAD

A 96-year-old farmer in India says that he has set the record for the world's oldest new dad - for the second time.
Ramjit Raghav and his 52-year-old wife Shakuntala Devi, who live in Haryana, 31 miles northwest of Delhi, welcomed baby Ranjeet earlier this month. The healthy baby boy was born on Oct. 5, according to The Times of India.
Raghav has now beaten his own record for being the world's oldest new dad, which he set two years ago when he and Shakuntala welcomed their first son together, Vikramajeet. Raghav credits his healthy sex drive at his advanced age for the two late-in-life children, and says it was all natural.
"I didn't take any performance enhancers"… I just prayed to God  to complete my family, either a boy or a girl," the nonagenarian said in an interview posted online.
Raghav's age is recorded in the Haryana government's social welfare department as 96 years old, the Times reported. Those records could not be confirmed by ABC News.
Raghav told The Times of India that he remained a bachelor and was celibate throughout most of his life until he met Shakuntala 10 years ago.
"After staying together, we decided to extend our family and aspired for two sons. With God's grace, our wish has been fulfilled," Raghav said.
Raghav told The Times that he credits his vivacity to his diet and lifestyle. He says he has been a teetotaler and strict vegetarian his entire life.
The world's previous oldest dad was thought to be Indian farmer Nanu Ram Jog, who reportedly had his 21 st child at the age of 90.

MICHELLE OBAMA vs ANN ROMNEY--------fashion faceoff

While President Obama and Mitt Romney duked it out onstage at the second presidential debate on Tuesday, we couldn't help but notice that both of their wives, Michelle Obama and Ann Romney, were sitting pretty on the sidelines in hot pink! They may have been acknowledging the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (pink is the color that represents the fight against the disease), or maybe they just like the color, especially since bright hues of any kind are quite trendy at the moment. Either way, their wardrobe choice gives us a chance to cast our vote for the best-dressed wife of a candidate!
Obama, 48, wore a so-bright-you've-gotta-wear-shades sheath with a cropped jacket by Michael Kors. (Do you think they watch "Project Runway" in the White House?LOL!) A strand of pearls added a touch of elegance to her look.
Meanwhile, Romney, 63, sported a textured knee-length frock with cap sleeves. The blond beauty accessorized with a blue-and-green necklace as well as some gold bangle bracelets.
Let's not be politically biased here, tell me,who wore it best?????????

Justin Bieber and his Adidas are about to do the illest things.

Just days after Sharon Osbourne publicly opined that Bieber's star is fading and his career will soon fizzle out, the 18-year-old has inked a lucrative deal to be the new face of Adidas.
The "Boyfriend" singer announced his latest endeavor on Tuesday morning. The two-year deal will team him up with the German sportswear company's Adidas NEO label. His official title is — get ready for this one — Global Style Icon. In addition to appearing in the company's ad campaigns, The Biebs will compile a list of his favorite Adidas products, which fans will be able to peruse and, hopefully, purchase.
With this latest business move, Bieber's empire just keeps getting bigger. Currently on his "Believe" tour, Selena Gomez's boyfriend also has his own fragrance collection and plans to launch his own clothing line.
The Adidas announcement comes at an interesting time. Late last week, "The Talk" host Sharon Osbourne — who successfully managed her husband Ozzy Osbourne's career and has searched for rising stars on "America's Got Talent" — said she doubts Bieber will have a long career in the music business.
"I've met him. I've worked with him. I did a TV commercial with him," Osbourne, 60, said at the National Radio Conference in Sydney. "He's a really great little guy, but that's his problem. He's a little guy. His fans are growing up — they're 18, 19-year-olds now. …They're young women — and he still looks like that little boy! … I just don't think, from my gut — and maybe my gut's wrong cause it's not 100% — but I don't think he's going to stand the test of time."
Of course, Bieber turned to Twitter to defend himself. "Doubt me...I like it," he posted on Twitter, adding, "Not worried Sharon." He also posted a link to his new music video for "Beauty and a Beat," which is his collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
And if his career does peter out, as Osbourne predicts? Well, he can auction off all his new Adidas gear.

Lagos state to start impounding cars that are not road worthy

The Lagos State Government has announced that it would commence impounding rickety vehicles plying roads in the state. The state’s Chief Vehicle Inspection Officer (CVIO), Gbolahan Toriola, on Monday, said that most road accidents in the state were caused by non-road worthy vehicles. “We are set to get these rickety vehicles off the roads to make our roads safe and to achieve the proposed plan of making Lagos Metropolis a mega city,” he said.
“With the enforcement of the new traffic law in the state, motorists plying Lagos roads should obey traffic laws, make sure that their vehicles are road-worthy and they should also obtain the required valid documents.”
Toriola further stated that VIO had visited LAGBUS and the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) depots in the metropolis to prevent their rickety buses from operating.
“It is sad to see how poorly these buses are being handled. We will never relent in making the LAGBUS and BRT buses road-worthy and worthy of emulation to other commercial buses in the state,” he said.
Both LAGBUS and BRT are franchised transport companies under the regulation of the Lagos State Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA).

If Kardashian goes with that look, it's sure to be met with approval by boyfriend Kanye West as well as, perhaps, Mercy, her pet cat.

#HOT or NOT?????

A new phone application has been developed that helps cheating Lovers keep their affairs secret.

How different life would be for Tiger Woods, Ashley Cole or Kristen Stewart – if they had only known about a new phone app which helps cheating lovers keep their affairs secret.

The Cate app, which stands for “Call and Text Eraser”, creates an invisible log of calls and text messages and can hide specific numbers from the contacts list.

The screen will never indicate who has called and at the touch of a button, all private information can be wiped from the phone forever.

Unlike other apps, the Cate icon does not appear on the home screen and if someone walks in while the cheat is reading their illicit texts, a simple shake of the phone will make it all disappear.

For added confidence, the adulterer has to enter a secret code to access the app and all the hidden features it provides.

Advertised with the slogan, “Love is blind, we keep it that way!”, the smartphone app which costs £3 ($4.99) to download, is the brainchild of Boston entrepreneur Neal Desai.

The 25-year-old student bought the app for £11,000 from a Miami police officer, who developed the program after seeing his friend dragged through the divorce court thanks to incriminating text messages on his phone.

Mr Desai then decided to expand the business by appearing on Shark Tank, the American equivalent of BBC2′s Dragon’s Den and ended up securing $70,000 (£44,000).

During the pitch he claimed that professional golfer Tiger Woods, who famously cheated numerous times on his wife Elin Norgegren, would actually still be married if he had bought the Cate app.
Since the app was launched three weeks ago, it has been downloaded 10,000 times.

Keeping affairs secret: Critics have questioned the Cate app for its ‘morality’

While critics have pointed out the “morality” of his product, Mr Desai insists there are legitimate reasons for using his app, which he says is there to protect someone’s privacy.

‘It’s a privacy app, essentially, and as with every technology that involves privacy, there is good with the bad,” Mr Desai told The Sunday Times.

‘But it is also labelled a privacy application and could have uses for government officials, or corporate business, or for lawyers whose entire business is based on keeping things confidential.’
So far, 70 percent of the purchases have been by women.

According to Jay Leopardi, Mr Desai’s business partner, that might be because women need to protect themselves from accusatory husbands and boyfriends.

It could be that women cheat more, or there are lots of bullish men out there who are accusing their girlfriends of cheating when they speak to any other man.’
And while adulterers might think they can now get away with anything, cheaters beware – the app could also be secretly downloaded by a suspicious husband or wife onto their spouse’s phone to create an invisible record of calls and texts.

So far women have accounted for 70 percent of the Cate app downloads!!!(NAA WAA OOH)

Pregnant widow commits suicide in edo state

It was indeed a double tragedy for the people of Emu village, in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State when one of their own, a 38-year-old pregnant widow and mother-of-two, Mrs. Juliet Omoroge committed suicide by hanging. The deceased, who was a widow and a big-time supplier of palm oil, hung herself with a rope on the ceiling fan of her room.
An eye witness who identified himself as Moses Okpako, narrated to the press how the dead body of Juliet was discovered. According to him, he went to the deceased house as agreed by both of them around 2 p.m., on that fateful day "to collect the money she owed him."
He continued: "When I got to her house, I met her two little kids, Franca, 6, and Francis, 4, crying heavily in the living room. I asked Franca what the matter was, why she was crying; then she told me that since they both woke up, they hadn't seen their mother, that she was still sleeping in her room. She further said they were hungry as there was nobody to prepare food for them."
Okpako was surprised, knowing well that the deceased was too business-minded to still be in bed by that time.
"I asked Franca if she was sure her mother was still inside the room, which she said yes, that the parlour door was locked, that she had opened all the doors and windows in the house and they had knocked her room several times but she refused to open or even answered them," Okpako recalled.
He subsequently went to the room and knocked the door to no avail.
"I then went to call a neighbour in the compound named Odion; we both knocked again, still no reply, so we had to break the door after which we saw her hanging. We immediately raised an alarm that brought the villagers to the scene".
When asked the amount of money owed him by the deceased, Okpako affirmed that it was N3, 000. He also asserted that, it couldn't have been the reason she took her life, "because she knows me very well, if she said she doesn't have the money, I will go and come back on another day," he avowed,
adding that "she just lost her husband few months back and also heavily pregnant."
According to Mathew Aigbe, elder brother of the deceased, "my sister was doing well in her business to the best of my knowledge" I don't see reason for her to take her own life,"he said.
Still feeling so embittered, Mattew wondered if loneliness could have pushed his late sister over the brink, "because since her husband died, she has been behaving strange. She sometimes acts semi-mad. She and her husband were very much in love," he affirmed.
It was further learnt from close relatives that the deceased, Juliet Omoroge, lost her husband, Festus, three months ago to asthma. All effort made to reach the Edo State Police Public Relations officer, Mr. Anthony Airhuoyo, to confirm the sad incident was met with walls.

NDLEA smoke out cocaine in Jewellery

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has arrested an alleged drug suspect with 2.472 kilogramme of cocaine, reports the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, the Head of Public Affairs of the agency, said in a statement on Saturday that the suspect concealed the substance in a bag of jewels.
Ofoyeju said the suspect was arrested aboard a KLM flight from Brazil at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
He revealed that during a search, a powdery substance, which tested positive for cocaine, was found in the bag.
"It took several hours to extract the cocaine from the jewellery because of the complex method of concealment; this mode of concealment is strange.
"This is the first time of discovering drugs inside jewellery; the drugs were industrially packed in ear rings, buttons, necklaces, bangles as well as in female belts.
"We had to forcefully open them to recover the drugs; the entire quantity of cocaine found in the jewellery products weighed 2.472 kilogrammes.
"One arrest has been made in connection with the seizure," Ofoyeju said.
He warned that although drug barons are becoming desperate, the agency is determined to frustrate their efforts.
"This seizure is yet an indication that drug traffickers can go to any length in hiding their drugs from law enforcement agents," he said.
Ofoyeju said that the suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

UNIPORT HOD removed for participating in protest against murder of ALUU 4

Human rights groups and the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) have called on the authorities of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Rivers State, to reinstate a former Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), UNIPORT chapter, Dr. Andrew Efemini, as the Head of Department of Philosophy.

Efemini was removed as the HOD, shortly after participating in Tuesday’s protest at Choba Junction on the East-West Road, against the murder of four UNIPORT students at Omuokiri-Aluu in Ikwerre Local

Government Area on October 5. The four male victims were Biringa Chiadika Lordson, Year Two, Theatre Arts, U2010/1805036; Ugonna Kelechi Obuzor, Year Two, Geology, U2010/5565149 and Mike Lloyd Toku, Year Two, Civil Engineering, U2010/3010094 and Tekena Erikena, a certificate student in the Faculty of Education, who had not completed his registration before the gruesome murder.

The Centre for Environment, Human Rights and Development (CEHRD), through its Director of Operations, Styvn Obodoekwe, yesterday in Port Harcourt, condemned the removal of the activist lecturer, which it said was unjust.

ACN on its part said: “We demand the immediate reversal of the removal of Dr. Efemini as the HOD, Philosophy of UNIPORT. The vice-chancellor’s decision to remove him for participating in last Tuesday’s protest is condemnable, irrational, unlawful, ungodly and provocative.”

Fresh crisis may erupt in Omuokiri-Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, where four students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) were murdered on October 5.

UNIPORT students are believed to be planning more attacks on Omuokiri-Aluu, in spite of the closure of the university following Tuesday’s violent protest. Besides, it was learnt yesterday that some ethnic groups in Rivers State, where the victims hailed from, were gearing up to avenge the murder.

Omuokiri-Aluu is still deserted, with policemen massively deployed in the area, to prevent a likely breakdown of law and order.

Two of the lynched students hailed from Okrika in Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State, where First Lady Jonathan hails from.

The spokesman of the umbrella organisation of Aluu Clan the Ogbakor Aluu, Mr. Garshon Benson, pleaded with those planning fresh attacks to desist from doing so and give peace a chance.

Aluu clan comprises nine communities. The spokesman insists that where the murder took place was totally inhabited by students and non-indigenes. He said no Aluu son could spill the blood of fellow human beings, as the custom and tradition of the clan forbid it.

The victims: Biringa Chiadika Lordson, Year Two, Theatre Arts, U2010/1805036; Ugonna Kelechi Obuzor, Year Two, Geology, U2010/5565149; Mike Lloyd Toku, Year Two, Civil Engineering, U2010/3010094 and Tekena Erikena, a Certificate student in the Faculty of Education, were lynched in Omuokiri-Aluu, for allegedly stealing mobile phones and laptops.

Benson said: “It has come to our notice that some ethnic groups in the state, whose sons were among those murdered, are threatening to attack Aluu.

“We warn strongly that we will no longer fold our arms and watch further destruction of our communities and the infliction of pains and injuries on the good and law-abiding people of Aluu clan.
“We also call on the security agencies to take note of this threat to attack Aluu and forestall it.”

The spokesman also stated that no Aluu person had hand in the murder of the undergraduates.
He said that on October 9, Omuokiri-Aluu was invaded by UNIPORT students, whom he claimed were armed with dangerous weapons and burnt over 10 houses, destroyed 60 vehicles in the full glare of policemen, whom he said ought to have stopped them.

Benson said three Aluu persons (two children and an aged woman) are still missing after a head count. He urged the government and security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the arson, bring them to justice and compensate the victims.

Rivers police spokesman Ben Ugwuegbulam, said policemen had been massively deployed in Aluu and its environs, to forestall untoward incidents.

May God come to the aid of this country.....
