IPHONE 5 SALES TOP 5MILLION OVER THE WEEKEND
Apple this morning said
it sold more than 5 million iPhone 5 units in the first weekend that
the new version of the company’s smart phone was for sale. That’s
certainly impressive: Give the phone went on sale at 8 a.m. Friday, that
suggests over the 64-hour time period the company sold at least 78,125
phone an hour. Or 1,302 a minute. Or 21 every second.
But here’s the thing: There were estimates out there that were considerably higher. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster had estimated that the company could sell as many as 8 million units, for instance.
The company said demand exceeded the initial supply. Apple added that the majority of pre-orders have been shipped to customers, but that many are scheduled to be shipped in October.
“Demand for iPhone 5 has been incredible and we are working hard to get an iPhone 5 into the hands of every customer who wants one as quickly as possible,” CEO Tim Cook said in a statement. “While we have sold out of our initial supply, stores continue to receive iPhone 5 shipments regularly and customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date. We appreciate everyone’s patience and are working hard to build enough iPhone 5s for everyone.”
#wish we could know the sales statistics for Nigeria alone......we are so crazy about phones in this part of the world, just wondering what ours would be.....LOL

UNCERTAINTY AS AMCON TAKES OVER AERO CONTRACTORS
Nigerian aviation
sector seems to have been further plunged into another uncertainty,
with the take-over of Aero Contractors by the Assets Management
Corporation of Nigeria
Besides its take-over by AMCON, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) also dealt another blow to the airline, by announcing on Friday that all credits to it should be halted because of the debt.
Confirming this in a statement, Chief Financial Officer of the airline, Omoke Enyi, said “we can confirm that Aero’s debt has been taken over by AMCON. Currently Aero is going through a restructuring exercise under AMCON, pending final approval by AMCON board, which is expected very soon.”
According to him, Aero was allowed limited access to funds by the banks through AMCON for its working capital.

When we were done he asked if i had love to hang out with him after work (hehehehe ,i hope that doesn't mean 'you are gonna have to pay for this food...LMAO, don't mind me, i have very funny thoughts sha)....i said no, that i had love to go back home early, and because i stay with our family friend, i wouldn't know what would be my excuses for returning late,their is no traffic along our side so that is out of it, and then he goes;
BDM: kOFO you're a big girl na ,why would you be doing this to me(at this moment he became as gentle as a dove),you are big enough to know i have feelings for you(egba mi oh,married man!!!feelings ko emotions ni).anyway i won't push it,i will give you enough time to think about it.
